Are there specific locations for your picnics?
We service Richmond and surrounding areas. Picnics can be in one of our preferred parks or a location of your choice (subject to additional fees) such as your backyard or living room.
Is this service just for couples?
Of course not! Our picnics are great for a variety of occasions including girls’ day out, birthdays, gender reveals, bachelorette/bridal showers and more!
How far in advance do I need to book?
  • Parties of up to 4 guests require at least 72 hours advance notice.
  • Parties of 5 – 8 guests require 1-week advanced notice
  • Parties of 9 guests or more require at least 2 weeks’ advanced notice.

*Sometimes we are able to accommodate last-minute requests, simply e-mail us or fill out our “Book Now” form. We recommend booking as soon as possible as dates quickly fill up and availability is limited.

What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
If rain is on the forecast we will reach out to you to see if you’d like to reschedule, based on our availability. We can also arrange an indoor picnic at your place during rainy days!
Can I add additional time?
Absolutely! Select as many additional hours as needed when booking.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Posh Life RVA does not offer refunds for any services offered. We understand things happen, so we allow our clients to reschedule within 90 days of the initial booking. Please reschedule as early as possible.
When is my request confirmed?
Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to your reservation inquiry. Once confirmed, non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book your date. Once your deposit is received, you are booked and ready to go! The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event.
Is food included in my picnic package?
No, not outside of our complimentary tasty treats. Please refer to our “add-ons” if you are interested in our charcuterie boards locally sourced. We also are able to pick up your food from a nearby restaurant for a small pick-up fee. Please write that request in the additional notes section for booking and we can suggest nearby options.
Do you provide alcohol?
We do not supply alcohol, however, you are permitted to bring your own based on your set locations rules/regulations.
What if I am late to my picnic reservation?
Your picnic time starts at the scheduled time that you selected at booking, regardless of the party’s arrival time. We will arrive on site right after your reservation time has ended to clean up. If you need additional time, you are able to reach out to us to see if we can add that to your package (based on the day’s availability), for a fee.
What does the day of the picnic look like?
Our team will arrive at your preferred location two hours before your event begins to set up everything seamlessly. For outdoor picnics, we’ll text you a pin with the exact location for easy access. After your event concludes, we’ll promptly return to handle cleanup. Just let us know when your picnic is finished via text or by notifying us.You may request additional time, please see our list of add-ons. I would like to add something to my picnic.
